Sights-n-Venture (SnV) participated in an intensive 7-week online course program and competition, emerged 2nd place overall in the written assignments and placed in the top eight finalists for the Pitch Night Grand Finale on 12 April.
The course was aptly designed to gauge a participating business’ readiness to enter China and transfer the key know-how to the participants to help them expand into the challenging China market. The participation rate far exceeded the organisers’ expectation and, it was great achievement that SnV was placed in the top 8 positions amongst the 400 participating businesses across Australia. Together with the other finalists, SnV went on a follow up Business Mission to Shanghai, China that includes visiting the Alibaba Group Headquarters in Hangzhou, attending China centric business meetings, being hosted dinner by Austrade with their Landing Pad start-up entrepreneurs, receiving invaluable advice from the top consultants in the city business circles and meeting some premier start-up communities like X-Node and Chinaccelerator.
From such excellent coaching and insights, Sights-n-Venture Tours is now more ready than ever for the China market, with educational tours in place that shall appeal to China students who are looking at group excursions and field trips to Australia with a difference.
